Join Centre of Excellence for Digital Innovation along with Dustin Day from the CMHA of NB as they present the second in a six-part series highlighting the six components of Digital Literacy: Digital Health and Wellness. In this webinar, classes across NB can join and learn about the elements of physical, emotional, and psychological well-being in a digital world and are some tips and ideas on how to govern themselves accordingly when using digital technologies.

Some other key take-aways from Digital Health and Wellness are:

  • Learners examine and identify the appropriate and inappropriate times to access and use digital technologies and self-govern accordingly.
  • Learners understand and avoid the potential physical and psychological benefits and health risks associated with the use of digital technologies and develop strategies, techniques, and technologies for improving their own and others’ physical and mental health and wellbeing.
  • Learners understand the nature of self-image and identity online and cultivate, manage, and reflect on their digital lives.

This webinar will be an interactive one, where students and teachers may ask questions! If you are interested in attending this webinar, please contact: adam.binet@gnb.ca
