What is CyberSense?

CyberSense is a digital skills and cyber security program for educators and their students, created by the Information and Communications Technology Council (ICTC) and Fair Chance Learning. CyberSense provides you with access to online courses, lesson plans, projects, and resources that will help you and your students learn the fundamentals of cyber security, cryptography, and career exploration. You will also learn how to use a micro:bit, a pocket-sized device that can be coded to create games, animations, robots, and more.

What is the Cyber Security Giveaway?

The Cyber Security Giveaway is a special offer for Canadian teachers who enroll in our CyberSense membership. The first 100 teachers who sign up will receive a micro:bit GO, a kit that includes a micro:bit device, a USB cable, a battery holder, and batteries. With the micro:bit GO, you will be able to enjoy a password generator activity with your students, where you will learn how to create and use strong passwords to protect your online accounts and data. You will also be able to explore other fun and educational projects with the micro:bit, such as making music, sending messages, and controlling robots.
