CyberTitan is Canada’s Student Cybersecurity Competition. In grade 9 Louise observed our seniors taking on the first year of the competition and in grade 10 she was one of six intrepid girls who became The Terabytches, the first all-female team to attend a Canadian finals of the competition. In this interview Louise talks about how getting into CyberTitan opened up a world of STEM opportunities and changed her direction into the creative computing program at Queens University. CyberTitan was also an opportunity to develop team and leadership skills that led to Louise winning a Schulich Leader Scholarship in her graduation year.
Join ICTC’s (and Louises’ former CyberTitan coach) Tim King interview Louise about their experience in CyberTitan and how it has helped in her post-secondary pursuits in Cybersecurity.
