Teachers – Unlock Emoji World and Save the Planet with Your Students!

Are you ready for the most exciting online field trip ever? During Canada Learning Code Week (December 4-10), you and your students can work together to save Emoji World from a climate catastrophe!

Last year, thousands of Canadian students filled Emoji World with poop emojis while learning to code. Unfortunately, this has led to a major CO2 emissions problem, putting Emoji World at risk.

This year, you can be the hero! By teaching one of our free coding lesson plans, your students will help clean up Emoji World and mitigate the damage. It’s an awesome way to introduce coding while connecting it to climate action.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Sign up to receive our featured Canada Learning Code Week lesson plans
  2. Pick one (or more!) to teach your students from December 4-10
  3. After your lesson, tell us how many kids participated to get a special code
  4. Unlock Emoji World so your students can see the impact of their work!

Then let them play around in Emoji World, using their new skills to help the environment. How cool is that?

No coding experience required – the step-by-step plans are designed for all skill levels. Bring creativity, problem-solving, and awareness into any grade 1-12 classroom subject.

Take this chance to get your students excited about computer science while contributing to something big. Be the commander of the mission – with us as your co-pilots!

Sign up now to get those lesson plans and save Emoji World! Let’s make Canada Learning Code Week epic. Your students can’t wait to be heroes!
