The Fredericton chapter of the North American Young Generation in Nuclear (NAYGN) is offering engaging presentations for middle and high school classes.
Students will learn about nuclear energy, its role in New Brunswick’s electricity system, and the diverse careers available within the nuclear industry. They will also have an opportunity to ask questions and hear directly from members of the next generation of nuclear professionals.
Presentation Options
- In person: Primarily available to schools in the Fredericton area
- Virtual: Available to schools throughout New Brunswick
- Other locations: Travel outside the Fredericton area may be possible, depending on scheduling and travel requirements
- Language: Presentations are currently available in English. French-language presentations are being explored, and French and French Immersion teachers are encouraged to express their interest.

The presentation also supports career-connected learning by introducing students to opportunities in science, technology, engineering, skilled trades, environmental protection, and the broader energy sector.

Presenters have the greatest availability during the following times:
- Mondays: Mornings and early afternoons
- Tuesdays: Afternoons
- Wednesdays: Mornings and early afternoons
- Thursdays: Afternoons
- Fridays: Mornings
Additional times may be possible depending on the date and the number of presenters required.

Middle and high school teachers interested in bringing a NAYGN presentation to their students are invited to complete the expression-of-interest form using the link below. Please provide your school, grade level, preferred presentation format and language, and general availability in the comment section.
Once submissions have been reviewed, NAYGN and the Centre of Excellence for Energy will work directly with interested teachers to determine suitable dates, times, and presentation details. Completing the form indicates your interest and does not guarantee that a presentation can be scheduled.
