Wednesday, Oct. 23rd at 9:00 – 9:45am – Grades 3-5 LIVE Session is What is Nuclear Power? Our session will start with a live read aloud of “Nuclear Power: How a Nuclear Power Plant Really Works” by Amelia Fahm and Andrew Handley. This will be following by a lesson and activity on atoms and how they can be used to power our homes. Successful registrations will be mailed a class kit that will be sent out the first week of October and will include:

- A classroom copy of Nuclear Power: How a Nuclear Power Plant Really Works” by Amelia Fahm and Andrew Handley
- Printed Atom Building activity sheets for all of your students
- A Nuclear Science Week Banner to display all of the built atoms
