Free Climate and Energy Programs from The Gaia Project
The Gaia Project is a New Brunswick-based charitable organization that empowers young people to take climate action through education. Its free, hands-on K–12 programs help students build skills, explore environmental issues, and deepen their understanding of climate change.
Programs include:
- Elementary: Trash Tracker (K–5) and Water Watchers (Grades 3–5)
- Middle School: Climate Labs, Water Watchers, Energy Escape and Walk the Grid
- High School: Freshwater Future, Walk the Grid, Climate Mindset, Green Experts and Green Micro-Internships
Topics include renewable energy, electricity, water, waste, soil and air quality, climate action, eco-anxiety and green career exploration.
