Experiential learning opportunity

LIVE EVENT: IDEA To Impact (Grades 3-5)

Online
December 3, 2026
Areas of interest: Business, Careers, English Language Arts, Entrepreneurship, Personal Wellness

Overview

In this interactive live event, learners become young entrepreneurs, using creative thinking to solve problems in their school or community. They will learn what a problem is, explore how solutions make life better, and see examples of local New Brunswick entrepreneurs in action. Learners will choose a problem they care about, brainstorm creative ideas, and build quick prototypes with simple classroom materials.

The focus is on experimenting, learning from mistakes, and improving ideas – showing that trying, testing, and adapting is a key part of entrepreneurship. Learners are encouraged to share their ideas in ways that work best for them, whether through speaking, drawing, or other forms of expression.
