We’re excited to announce an amazing opportunity to learn web development skills for free after school with our partners at BrilliantLabs. Starting on November 27, they will be offering an 8-day virtual program introducing HTML, CSS and JavaScript – the building blocks of creating websites and web apps.
This is a chance for your child to get hands-on experience with real web development tools and concepts. The program is designed to be enjoyable for a wide range of ages and skill levels. No prior coding experience is required!
Over the course of the 8 afternoons, students will:
- Learn the basics of HTML and CSS to structure and style web pages
- Use JavaScript to make web pages interactive and dynamic
- Create their own simple web projects like games and animations
- Build a portfolio website to showcase everything they build
The program will be held virtually, so your child can participate comfortably from home. All they’ll need is a Windows 10/11 or Mac computer to use during the sessions.
Coding skills are highly valued in our tech-driven world. This program is a great way for your child to explore their interests in a creative, educational environment. And it’s completely free, thanks to the support of Brilliant Labs!
