BrillantLabs – Web Development Free After School Program

All of NB, Online
Monday to Thursday 4-5:30 pm (AST) from November 27th to December 7th
Areas of interest: Coding, Digital Citizenship, Digital Literacy

We’re excited to announce an amazing opportunity to learn web development skills for free after school with our partners at BrilliantLabs. Starting on November 27, they will be offering an 8-day virtual program introducing HTML, CSS and JavaScript – the building blocks of creating websites and web apps.

This is a chance for your child to get hands-on experience with real web development tools and concepts. The program is designed to be enjoyable for a wide range of ages and skill levels. No prior coding experience is required!

Over the course of the 8 afternoons, students will:

  • Learn the basics of HTML and CSS to structure and style web pages
  • Use JavaScript to make web pages interactive and dynamic
  • Create their own simple web projects like games and animations
  • Build a portfolio website to showcase everything they build

The program will be held virtually, so your child can participate comfortably from home. All they’ll need is a Windows 10/11 or Mac computer to use during the sessions.

Coding skills are highly valued in our tech-driven world. This program is a great way for your child to explore their interests in a creative, educational environment. And it’s completely free, thanks to the support of Brilliant Labs!
