The Centre of Excellence for Energy is offering a new online, hands-on learning experience for Grades K–2 focused on building early energy literacy. This series includes three live, 30-minute sessions delivered over three weeks, where our team will guide your class through engaging lessons that explore the following fundamental questions:
1) What is energy is?
2) How we use energy every day?
3) Are we Saving Energy or Are we Wasting Energy?
The program is limited to 20 classes. Each participating class will receive a materials kit and lesson plans delivered to your school, with resources designed for repeated classroom use. Sessions run from 9:00–9:30 a.m. on Friday, March 24; Friday, April 10; and Friday, April 17.
