The Centre of Excellence for Entrepreneurship presents: Financial Literacy Week – November 18-22nd, 2024!
It is time to boost your financial know-how! This month-long event (November 2024) is packed with activities aimed at improving financial skills for students and teachers.
In partnership with CPA NB, Junior Achievement NB, CBDC, and FCNB, and The Bank of Canada Museum, we will be offering a variety of activities focused on money management topics such as: budgeting, investing, credit, and debt.
1. Two live webinars “The Three Little Financial Pigs” will be held for elementary students on Thursday, November 21st. This interactive webinar will teach young students money basics in a fun and engaging way. Kits will be mailed in advance to teachers who register for the event. 2. Financial Literacy Night on November 21st at Forest Hills School in Saint John, NB. The theme is “Money Matters: Games, Prizes, and Financial Fun – this is an evening community event for students and guardians. The Centre of Excellence for Entrepreneurship is proud to host a booth and sponsor this event!
3. Middle School Kit: Experiential Learning for Grades 6-8 Math, Personal Wellness and Social Studies. This Middle School Resource Package was created to support the new holistic curriculum by integrating hands-on, engaging content from the Centre of Excellence for Entrepreneurship Partners.
