About
Students in Grades 3–5 are invited to an engaging live event with author Paul McAllister. During the session, Paul will share how he transformed a problem into a creative solution by writing books. He will read one of his stories and then guide students through the process of designing their own unique book characters.
Students will participate in a hands-on, arts-based activity, exploring sculpture and colour theory as they bring their characters to life. They will then use their creations as inspiration to write their own original stories.
This interactive experience blends storytelling with creative expression, encouraging imagination, creativity, and big ideas. Selected classes will also receive a copy of the book featured during the live event.
