Irving Oil Site Tour and Career Exploration
Join us for a day designed for educators to explore real-world career opportunities in skilled trades and technologies. Gain firsthand insights to help students discover meaningful career pathways right here in New Brunswick. The day will include a guided tour of Canada’s largest refinery, located in Saint John, as well as lunch and career pathway discussions at the Irving Oil Home Office

McCain Site Tour and Career Exploration
McCain Foods Canada is one of the country’s largest food companies and a global leader in frozen potato products. Headquartered in New Brunswick, it was founded in 1957 by the McCain brothers. The company is best known for producing French fries, but its product range also includes appetizers, frozen meals, and plant-based foods. McCain supplies restaurants, grocery stores, and foodservice providers across Canada and internationally. As part of the global McCain Foods network, the Canadian division plays a key role in agriculture, working closely with local potato growers and supporting rural communities.

Malley Site Tour and Career Exploration
Malley Industries invites teachers to tour our modern manufacturing facility. You will see skilled professionals fabricate ambulances that help people save lives throughout North America as well as the manufacture of accessible vehicle conversions that enable independence. Lunch will be provided while you have an opportunity to explore career pathways for young people ranging from those fresh out of high school to newly minted college or university grads and highly educated seasoned professionals.

Systemair Site Tour and Career Exploration
Systemair manufactures residential air handling units to provide fresh air to customers across Canada and US. Teachers will visit the facility to see advanced fabrication with automated punching and bending equipment, hands-on assembly, and product testing in our lab, highlighting careers such as machine operators, assembly workers, forklift operators, technicians, and engineers. The experience also includes a company presentation showcasing our team-oriented workplace where many leaders have grown from the production floor. Lunch will be served while having an interactive discussion with local managers.

If interested in more than one PL opportunity, participants must complete a registration for each.
Participants will be reimbursed for kilometer expenses in accordance with GNB guidelines. Participants will receive 1/2 day renumeration for attending. Lunch will be provided on site for each session.
Agenda details, waiver forms, food restrictions requests will be forwarded to teachers after registration closes.
Deadline to register is Friday, July 10th, 2026. Registration in each tour may close before date if the maximum number of seats has been reached.
