Idea to Impact

Grades 3-5
Subjects: Career Connected Learning, English Language Arts, Personal Wellness, Science, Social Studies
*Resources for FI Grades 3-5 coming soon*

Overview

Learners become young entrepreneurs, using creative thinking to solve problems in their school or community. They will learn what a problem is, explore how solutions make life better, and see examples of local New Brunswick entrepreneurs in action. Learners will choose a problem they care about, brainstorm creative ideas, and build quick prototypes with simple classroom materials.

The focus is on experimenting, learning from mistakes, and improving ideas – showing that trying, testing, and adapting is a key part of entrepreneurship. Learners are encouraged to share their ideas in ways that work best for them, whether through speaking, drawing, or other forms of expression.
