Jack.Org Talk Description:
Mental Health Struggle: This Talk introduces mental health as something everyone experiences on a spectrum. Participants will learn to recognize signs of struggle and understand how open conversations can help reduce stigma and foster supportive communities.
Led by two trained youth speakers from Jack.org – a leading Canadian mental health charity – this engaging session will cover the foundations of mental health, including the difference between mental health struggles and crises, and the social and structural factors that impact wellness. You’ll also hear powerful personal stories from young people sharing their lived experiences.
Jack.org is a leading mental health charity that works alongside youth to build communities and systems that support their mental health. Its vision is to build a world where young people can thrive in mental wellness, and where distress becomes a thing of the past.
Let’s come together to build awareness, reduce stigma, and support a future where all youth can thrive in mental wellness.”
