Department of Social Development, Department of Health (Talent Recruitment Division) and COE Health are celebrating Nurse’s Week!
As we celebrate Nurses Week from May 11th to the 17th, under the inspiring theme “The Power of Nurses to Transform Health,” we are reminded of the incredible impact nurses have on individuals, families, and communities every single day.
A simple act of kindness can go a long way in recognizing the dedication and compassion of nurses. We invite your class to participate in this meaningful activity:
- Have students create drawings, cards, or messages of appreciation for nurses.
- These can be completed individually or as a class.
- Arrange for the cards to be delivered to a local hospital, long-term care facility, or another community setting where nurses work.
- Take a photo of the completed cards and send to and submit to COE Health intern at Abigail.Allain-Geldart@gnb.ca> the COE Health Survey. COE Health Post Assessment 2025/ 2026
- As a thank you for participating, 2 classes will be selected to receive a healthy lunch (sponsored by Talent Recruitment Division and COE Health).
The gratitude activity is a wonderful opportunity for students to come together, express gratitude, and learn about the importance of caring for others.
Thank you for helping us inspire kindness and celebrate those who make such a difference in our communities.
