Grandir à l’ère des réseaux de médias sociaux est indéniablement un défi, mais que savons-nous vraiment de la technologie qui sous-tend ces plateformes et des impacts qu’elles peuvent avoir sur nos jeunes ? Grandir en Ligne est une ressource d’actualité inspirée par les jeunes de MAJ Radio-Canada qui peut être utilisée dans les classes de FLS des écoles secondaires pour explorer ce sujet critique plus en profondeur. Ce documentaire d’actualité fournit également des conseils pratiques pour maintenir une relation équilibrée avec les médias sociaux et est accompagné d’un guide de ressources éducatives pour faciliter les discussions en classe, les évaluations et les idées d’activités postérieures.
Overview
Around the world, governments are trying to regulate sociual media networks to better protect young people online. Growing up in the age of social media networks is undeniably challenging, but how much do we really understand about the technology behind these platforms and the impacts they can have on our youth? Grandir en Ligne is a youth-inspired current-event resource from MAJ Radio-Canada that can be used in high school FSL classrooms to explore this critical topic in greater depth. This current event documentary also provides practical tips on maintaining a balanced relationship with social media and is accompanied by an educational resource guide to facilitate class discussions, assessments and ideas for post activities.
